Mark,
The different LMI types use different dlci's - I no longer remember which dlci
is used for which lmi type, but, I believe if
you do a show int (type #), you'll see a reference to the dlci being used by
the lmi.
I could be wrong - it's be a while scince I looked at this particular
question.

How do y'all tell what lmi-type you are dealing with in FR when you do not
have control of the frame switch?
Is it trial and error or do you have a set method and/or command you prefer
to use??
Our options are:
cisco (default)
ansi (IETF, "standards-based", I believe)
q933a (not sure how this would be referred to, I only know CCITT /
Annex"A")
Forgive me if this seems basic, but I am sure I burn some precious clock on
this now and again.
