Karl,
I bet he's looking from a low to middle level where he's probably never
seen an MPLS network or knows the difference between a packet switched
and circuit switched network. We're looking from the high level where
that sort of thing is potentially (probably/likely) important. How many
people know what DLSW is? I can't even spell it. :-)
Don't get me wrong: I think there will always be a need for high-end,
skilled and experienced network professionals (notice I didn't say
"certified"). I don't think they will be needed in the average network,
though.
