Verified ? you mean on these platforms the same subinterface supports EoMPLS
and assigning an IP address too ??

something like this

interface GigabitEthernet0/0.1
"ip address x.x.x.x " ??
encapsulation dot1q 30
"mpls l2transport route 1.0.0.2 300" ??

on your 6500 or 7600 you can assign an ip address to the vlan interface and
also do a L2transport.

But on subinterface ...?? .if you did it...can u tell which IOS you used???
