Hi Dave,
I prefer to telnet to the term server then reverse to each device. You can
still open up several telnet windows - one to each device if you wish.
As for getting to and from a reverse telnet device - use "Ctrl Shift 6" all
at once then release them and type "x". From the term server you can track
your sessions with "show sessions" and you can end a session with
"disconnect"
Hope that helps,
Ian

Subject: Help Newbie : IE Rack Rental Usage advice sort ?
Would anybody care to share their IE rack rental experience with me please ?
Do you just login to the AS and jump off from there ? Or do you login
to each device individually, ie 8 telnet sessions etc,
If you do login to the AS and use a Hostname to jump to a device, for
example R1, if so how do you jump back to the AS when your done with
R1 ? I tried quit and exit and i was still at the router prompt,
R1>quit R1>exit
So I did ctrl-Alt-6, X and hossed my lab completely...(couldnt login
back into R1)
Any advice would be helpful...thanks in advance..
dave..
