Hi Ian,

Thanks for your reply. I logged into the Term server(Access Server)
and then reversed into R1 using the word 'R1' . This was all fine at
this point, since I was now connected to R1 from the Term Server. :-)
ok ! moving forward...

However my problem occured when I wanted to leave R1. I tried R1>quit.,
then I tried R1>exit, but niether would release me from R1 iron grip !

So then I tried the sequence you described below Ctrl Shift 6 and X.
This worked ok and I bounced back to the Term Server OK !. However the
sh*t hit the fan when I couldnt reverse back to R1 any more !!!! I
mean never again... :-| ....

Sadly I couldnt reverese back to R1 again ! I dont understand why
Ctrl Shift 6 and X, should prevent me from ever connecting back to R1
again ?

I mean I am happy to use CRT and open several telnet sessions, but i
just wanted to understand how I hossed my LAB with Ctrl Shift 6 and X
?

your advice is appreciated.
cheers
dave
