Hi all!
OK - what is the real deal with the NAME option that you can add to a
dialer map?
I have left it out of the following one-way CHAP configuration and
things work just great!
Why is it necessary then? What is it really doing? Why does my example
below work?
Rack2R4
username Rack2R5 password 0 CISCO
!
interface BRI0/0
ip address 136.2.45.4 255.255.255.248
encapsulation ppp
dialer map ip 136.2.45.5 broadcast 5272025
dialer-group 1
isdn switch-type basic-ni
isdn spid1 5272024
