Vlan maps are used for the whole vlan and yes it takes care of traffic
coming from a trunk link as well if it is part of that vlan.

If you want to just control traffic on that port, you can use port
ACL. Doesn't look like it is supported on 3550 ( it is on cat4500/6k).
