Is your VLAN UP/UP? Can you ping 20.20.10.3?

Subject: Catalyst 3550: Missing VLAN subnet

Hey Guys:

I configured a vlan (vlan 20) as the management vlan on my 3550 switch. This
vlan was assigned an IP address. I enabled IP routing and run an IGP (rip
v2) on the switch, the problem is, I am not seeing this vlan subnet on the
route table. My guess is it should appear as a directly connected network.
Am I missing something in my config?

int vlan 20
 ip add 20.20.10.3 255.255.255.0

router rip
version 2
network 20.0.0.0
no auto-summary.
