If a task on the lab does specify an authentication type. Let's say it simply
says: "use authentication on OSPF area 3 with password of lab" does it matter
rather I use simple or message digest?
Another question on the same topic. If I use md5 authentication with a
protocol that uses a key chain does the key and the key-string get hashed or
only the key-string?
