OSPF: Loopback interface's cost

Hi,

I find that we can not change the cost of a loopback interface by using
"bandwidth" command unless specify the cost with "ip ospf cost".

Is there any good explanation(URL) about this?

R2#show run int lo 1
interface Loopback1
 bandwidth 128
 ip address 22.22.1.2 255.255.255.0
 ip ospf network point-to-point
end

R2#show ip ospf int lo 1
Loopback1 is up, line protocol is up
  Internet Address 22.22.1.2/24, Area 2
  Process ID 1, Router ID 192.168.1.2, Network Type POINT_TO_POINT, Cost: 1
