You can download the image to the sup-slot0: from the CatOS prompt (go
to slot0 instead of sup-slot0). The pcmcia card is not available to
the MSFC, except to boot from it (as fair as I remember):
boot system bootflash:c6msfc2-jsv-mz.121-11b.E14.bin
boot system flash sup-slot0:c6msfc2-jsv-mz.121-11b.E14.bin
Also remember that you MUST keep the small boot image (e.g.,
c6msfc2-boot-mz.121-13.E5.bin) as the first image in the bootflash
(this was true for MSFC1, not sure about MSFC2). Do not delete it, or
if you want a newer one make sure you download it as the first image
in the bootflash. You can perform the whole upgrade, deleting all
images from the bootflash and/or slot0 and download the new ones as
long as you do not power off the switch in the meantime until you have
the new images in place.
