The book actually was published in April, 2003 so it's not that new given how
quickly things change, but it's still probably the best resource for lab
prep.

If you go to the cisco press site, you can download a sample chapter and
assess for yourself.

Is the book is new one or puplished in 2003. If it is new one please write
the isbn number and authers name. The reason, when I search on cisco press
I get only one book for IPv6 published on 2003.

As far as I have read the book seems well written and has some decent
Q&A at the end of each chapter to check your absorption rate.

    I also like the fact that it has
    Windows/Solaris/FreeBSD/Linux/Tru64UNIX configs
    It helps get the lab environment setup quickly so you can spend more
    time learning and less time on support sites trying to confirm syntax.
