Port Channeling !!!!

Has someone come a cross a problem with Port-Channeling between 6509 and
6513. Both are running sup720 and IOS 12.2(17a)sx4?

I have a (2) Single Mode Fiber running between these switches, and have
configured a Layer III port channel. The channels are up, but I can't ping a
cross. I can't even ping the directly connected interface. It's more likely
an intermittent issue as I was able to ping last week. Nothing has been
changed and yet the ping traffic failed this morning.

I didn't see any caveat about port-channeling on CCO for the IOS release
12.2(17a)sx4.

Note: I am running OSPF routing protocol.

Here is the debug from "DEBUG IP PACKET 100 DETAIL"
