So I finally cracked it - on the fourth attempt. I passed in
Brussels two weeks ago and have been in a daze ever since. It's
highly addictive, and I'm giving serious consideration to doing the
Service Provider track.
Special thanks must go to Ian of ccie4u.com - who gave me a free lab
when I got myself mixed up a few months ago. I mostly used the IP
expert work book - I had a couple of issues with it, but I found the
introductory scenarios to be very good, and I would recommend it.
All I can say to those trying is good luck, and keep it up. Passing
the exam is partly a how you do on the day thing - I was probably less
prepared for my fourth attempt having moved jobs and countries in the
four weeks beforehand, than any of the other three, and yet this was the
one when I finally nailed it.
