Tom,

I'm with you. I don't think it's Cisco "Official" policy that ripv1 can't
be on the lab, therefore it can be. On the other hand, I personally think
it's somewhat unlikely. But, that said, whoa be the unfortunate one who
doesn't know rip v1 or the issues it raises and gets that version of the lab
which has it.

But, again, like you said earlier, if someone has ccie level expertise in ip
subnetting and routing protocols, knowing the incremental knowledge to deal
with rip v1 shouldn't be very much of a challenge.
