In terms of the lab exam how should be dealing with the values specified for
CAR?

If the Normal burst bytes and Maximum burst bytes are not explicitly indicated
or given in the question do I use the Cisco recommended formula or invent my
own values. I have seen the Cisco Press CCIE Lab book examples of questions
where they seem to have used no known formula for the values.

Is there any rule of thumb or by the fact in the question they don't specify
these values that they don't care?
