Hi
In order to specify the bandwith to specify under cb-wfq we have two ways,
1- bandwidth percentage
2- bandiwth in Kbps
When i convert custom q to cb-wfq i can conver to either BPS or percentage.
In both the case i need to find the value,
As per the documentation,
1-To calculate BPS valus = (queue byte count / total byte count of all
queues) * bandwidth capacity of the interface
2-To calculate bandwidth percentage value = (queue byte count / total
byte count of all queues) * 100
total byte count is calculated by adding all the q-list byte-count.
Somebody please verify these...
a) The other question is if i have an entry for "default queue" within
custom queue, should i assume 1500 bytes as the byte count and add
this as well when i have to find the total queue to calculate the
percentage or bps value as showed above.
queue-list 10 default 2
b) How about if a queue list entry that is not defined for byte-count
vlaue, when i calculate the total byte count should i assume the
default value (1500).
Regards
Cert
