Hi,

For those who have not try the lab yet, and want to have full challenge from
the lab to test yourself, don't read any further, coz it will take all the
fun out of lab. :)

Got some questions on lab 1, Cisco Press R&S practice lab book.

1. Frame Relay - Hub and Spoke topology
The answer is to use multipoint sub-interface on hub, and point-to-point
sub-interface on spoke. Can't I use multipoint sub-interface on all routers?
There is no restriction on this question.

2. BGP routing
R2 -- R1 -- R6
R2 and R6 are peering eBGP across non-BGP speaking R1. All routers are
running RIP as IGP. To achieve full network connectivity, I decided to
redistribute BGP into RIP.
The answer in the book is using policy based routing on R1. Will I get the
point?

3. DLSw+
Question: Let 's say R1 peering to R2, Set up a one-line filter, which only
allow common SNA traffic from R2 across DLSw+ network.
The answer is to use lsap-output-list with access-list 200 permit 0x0000
0x0D0D on R2.
Will we get better result, if using "dlsw icanreach saps 0 4 8 c" on R1?
With this icanreach command, R1 will tell R2 its capability which will also
eliminate DLSw+ explorer packet.

4. QoS
Question: Running voice over frame relay, achieve maximum quality of voice
calls by ensuring the real-time packet interval of 10 ms is not exceed.
The answer is to use frame-relay fragment.
In my opinion, frame-relay traffic shaping with Tc=10 ms and prioritize
voice traffic, will also achieve objective.

What do you guys think? Thank you in advance.

Cheers,
David
