Well it does say the written exams "will recertify any associate-level,
professional-level and Cisco Qualified Specialist certification", so I assume that means SP too.

  Just got this from Cisco...I know there has been a lot of talk about
this recently. I am glad because my CCNP expires in May and my CCIE
written expires in August. I didn't want to deal with the composite
exam.
