Assigning another subnet say 10.1.0.0/16 as secondary addresses over the
link between the two routers,
and enabling rip over it should give you want you want.

Now I want to see on 192.168.1.2 a route like 10.0.0.0/16 and not
10.0.0.0/8. How would you accomplish that without disabling
auto-summary? Is it possible?
