Hi Bill,
The Security workbook was just released and is based on the new
October 1st. specification. This means that it only covers security
related configuration. The initial configurations include layer 2 setup
(3550, Frame Relay, ATM, & ISDN) as well as layer 3 connectivity set up
for you. The only configuration related to routing is authentication.
This is not to say that you don't need to know how these
technologies work, just that they are not the focus of the publication.
If you need to work on R&S technologies we suggest our IEWB-RS workbook,
or our soon to be released R&S foundations workbook for CCIE security
candidates.
HTH,
Brian McGahan, CCIE #8593
