Hi Tim,

I dont know whether they penalise us or not if we leave it like that...as
would be taking the LAB fo r the first time...and even if it was the Nth
time i wouldnt have know...right..

Coming back why we have to configure it like this...i feel when the
requirement is to have a pure access port we have to set the port mode to
access.

As by not doing this ...another switch if connected on the same port may
negotiate a trunk.

May work well in a LAB scenario but definately not a Best Practise in real
life.
