Oh, ok, now I see what he was asking. I thought the question was if rspan
had to be configured on more then one switch to get it to work. I thought
maybe he didn't really understand the concept of rspan.

Hi Joe,

        Yes you still have to configure the monitor session command on
both ends. The original question was whether or not the "remote-span"
keyword is needed under the VLAN at the source and the destination. The
answer is no, because it is propagated via VTP. Make sense?
