When I did my lab 2 weeks ago, I had more than enough time. Whenever I
encountered some things I can't solve immediately in practice labs, I would
spend not more than 5 mins on it. Skip it and come back later. Unless its
layer 2 or basic layer 3, I'll do that.

8 hours is sufficent time. If you get stuck on something...don't spend any
longer than 10 minutes on it, provided that it doesn't affect other portions
of the lab...if you do happen to get stuck on something, go back to it a
little later.
