RIP default routing/RIP version in the LAB.

Hi Group,
 
(A.)When router has a "no ip classess" configured and has a default route in the routing table. Will this router be able to reach a network that is not in the routing table?.(practical studies vol 11 pg 625)
 
(B.)In the Lab, if they ask to configure RIP, what version they are expecting. Can we configure RIPv2 with no auto-summary or we have to configure RIPv1(default)
