Hi,
You should have routers that are clean except for some basic IP addressing.
No access is given (or needed) to the ATM/Frame Switches. There should be
some basic addressing already to give you some basic connectivity. If the
tasks don't ask you to configure the BB routers then you won't have (or
need) access to them. The diagrams are provided though many people choose
to generate their own off of the provided ones so they can mark them up and
lay them out in a fashion they are most comfortable with.

Subject: R&S LAB setup at the start/what is the initial config on the
routers/switches?
Hi
Can I know whether the below is known to public?
I am not really sure what is the setup at the start and just like to know.
1. Are all the routers reloaded after "write erase" and with "routers"
prompt?
3. Do we have to configure the FR switch, ATM switch (I do not think so)
etc.
4. Are the IP addresses already assigned on all interfaces? (I have
heard it so)
5. Do we have the access to BB(backbone - route generators) routers?
6. Do they provide good topology diagrams?
Thanks for the reply.
