Mani,
I have the IE workbook & Solution Guide (which, btw, is included at no extra
charge). And, yes, IEWB stands for Internetwork Expert Workbook.
I have used other workbooks, but for my limited money, the IEWB is the best
way to go. Those guys, Brian Dennis and Brian McGahan, have put together
what I think is the best product of it's kind on the market today. And,
yes, having more than one frame cloud in the real lab is very possible -
perhaps even likely.
This is why I think this workbook is so good.
1) The wording of the lab requirements is often similar to that of the real
lab.
2) The level of difficulty of their practice is on par or slightly harder
than the real lab.
3) Their coverage of the core topics is very comprehensive. If you go
through all 20 labs, you will have covered , for example, probably all or at
least most of ways OSPF can be configured including many of the weird ways
you might come across in the real lab.
4) The Solution Guide that comes with the Workbook is truly a work of
beauty. The explanations they provide for the requirements in each lab are
very well written, mostly free of typo's, very comprehensive, and easy to
follow.
5) Their support web site for the workbook is very responsive. Whenever I
had a question and posted it there, I usually got a timely response I could
trust. This was very different from my previous experience with another
vendor.
That said, I still think it's worthwhile to get as much practice as
possible. So, you may want to also get a copy of the new Cisco Press R & S
Practice Labs and go through those practice labs as well.
The real R & S lab is very difficult and is a moving target. As of August
1st, there will be new features you'll have to know. And, if you haven't
passed the lab by the end of year, you probably discover that Cisco will
have announced new technologies to be included. Think IPv6, for example.
HTH, Tim
