multicast rate-limit

for example:
ip multicast rate-limit group-list 1 source-list 2 1000
access-list 1 permit A_group
access-list 1 permit B_group
access-list 2 permit C_station
access_list 2 permit D_station

when i apply this on an interface, how would it work?

C+D send traffic to A+B would get 1M bandwidth total?
OR C to A get 1M,C to B get 1M,.......,will get 4M total???
