According to information on the CCIE pages, and spelled out in labs, there
is no partial credit within point sections.
So if you have OSPF broken into two 2-point sections and a 3-point setion (7
total points), you COULD see some points for OSPF. But that assumes you
answer all items within each of the appropriate point sections.
So if the first two point section gives you three things to do and you only
do two of them, you do not get those two points.
Seems straightforward there, but it hurts more when you get more things to
do within a point section. Missing one of them gives you no points there.
Attention to detail. :)

Subject: Point scoring
Without breaking NDA, does anyone know if points accumulated during the R&S
lab only include complete answers, or do you obtain points for answering
part of a question/sub-question correct?
Many Thanks,
Regards,
Craig.
