How does a 3550 take on all roles in Private VLANs?
According to this doc, it only supports the edge feature:
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/473/63.html
The 3550 supports 'protected' port (pvlan-edge), dot1q-tunneling, port-acls,
etc. But where is the support for Isolated or Community VLANs? They're still
using 3550s on the lab, according to the Lab Exam Blueprint. Therefore,
no PVLAN on the R&S test, correct?
Looks like the 3560 supports it, and on up the line.
As far as complexity, I don't know, the 3550 seems much simpler than
full-blown Router IOS, being _only_ 1000 pages (?) If you're asked to do
something you've never heard of on the 3550, it is MUCH easier to find the
doc reference, whatever it is.
