Hi Guys:
I'm having important troubles working with BBSM, and i though anyone can
provide some light if he has direct experience or knowledge of this
product.
We are trying it in a typical BBSM "bridged network", using the samples
provided at the web site. Here you are a simple "plain-text" scheme of our
scenario:
Internet --- Router 2600 --- BBSM ---3524XL --Laptop
The BBSM device is IP configured (including a dhcp range for the laptop
computers). The laptop computers acomplish all the hardware & software
requirements to be used with BBSM. Besides, it takes the IP address
provided by the BBSM and has IP connectivity with it.
However, when we open the explorer from the laptop, no authentication
screen appears (it seems that this request isnt't intercepted by the bbsm)
When i do a laptop port test from the BBSM it displays this error:
"A client must be connected on the port you wish to test"
It seems like the BBSM don't recognize the laptop connected at this port.We
have also tried with another switch (3548XL), but the problems are the
same.
Can you provide any help about this?
Regards
