Hello all,
I have a 3550-12G that is running out of memory to the point I cannot
telnet to it. When I have physical access to the router, I can see
through the console port that the system is, "%%Low on memory; try again
later" and I have many "%SYS-2-MALLOCFAIL:" errors. I know this means
something is chewing up all the memory. However, I will not have
physical access to this switch again for some time. I would like to
"reserve" a certain amount of memory so this way when all of the memory
fills up (with the exception of the amount I specifically reserve), then
I can still telnet to the router to troubleshoot.
Is this possible?
Thanks in advance!
