hi,
if i wanted to know if a ROUTE had gone i would use dialer-watch...it is (
if you like) protocol
independent
i use dialere-watch onyl 1 router i have as an ASBR ..of sort`s ...gthat way
if either my EIGrp or ospf routes go down i can get back-up quick
but in your case i would recommned the ospf demand circuit
it is the most Direct answer to your question ...
