ok

lets change the question slightly

media is FR/ATM/ethernet ...you choose

Question says

limit all outgoing trafic on port x/x to 1.6 meg

my question is this

does that mean that my CIr +BE+BC should equal 1.6 meg...

or

does it mean that the CIR only is 1.6 meg....

also if i am using ethernet ...

how do i rate limit that.....are there specific commands..as i have ready
that policing works on all interfaces

just trying to get some clarification
TIA
