Ed ,

thanks a bunch ..

i had tried all the ways of connecting ospf ...p2p broad/neigbhor..

the problem i had was how to verify my answer`s ..and " nei detail" did it
for me ....

R11#sh ip ospf nei det
Neighbor 130.1.30.3, interface address 130.1.10.2
In the area 40 via interface Serial1
Neighbor priority is 1, State is FULL, 6 state changes
DR is 0.0.0.0 BDR is 0.0.0.0
i
i tried all the other commands but none showed that DR /BDR line

again ..many thanks
