Thjat solution looks incomplete. "Rmon event 1 log owner config" won't do
anything unless you have also configured the Rmon alarm command which is
what defines which OID's are monitored and what thresholds are used to
trigger an snmp trap.
Re: owner config - that's just for human infomational purposes. snmp itself
doesn't use that info. I suppose it's possible that it might be used by an
snmp mgr problem like HP OpenView to trigger an email or page to a specified
person, but I'm just guessing now.
