Multicast to Unicast to Multicast Conversions

Hi all,

Since it's possible to convert Braodcast traffic to multicast and back to
Broadcast traffic so that applications that don't support mcast can be made
more scalable and network efficient, I figure there should be a way for for
mcast traffic to be converted to unicast in order to transit a network which
doesn't support multicast.

Is there such a thing? If so, can someone point me to where's it's
documented on the doc cd?
