Hello,
My mistake should be rounded down to 2. Make sure to restart eigrp
process and other remote router has same variance values
Sincerely,
John

You need to take a closer look at what the toplogy table is telling
you..
386560 < (variance 2)* 156160 is not true.

Subject: EIGRP - Variance
Dear All,
How to calculate the variance used in eigrp to allow the routing table
showing two possible routes using "sh eigrp topology" result? I have
tried
useing variance = 2, but fail.
5.0.0.0/32 is subnetted, 1 subnets
D 5.5.5.5 [90/156160] via 142.1.65.5, 00:00:04, FastEthernet2/0
P 5.5.5.5/32, 1 successors, FD is 156160
via 142.1.65.5 (156160/128256), FastEthernet2/0
via 142.1.56.5 (386560/128256), FastEthernet0/0
Thanks,
