Don't you need to purchase some licenses for the phones for the CM
express to work also???

I like Call Manager Express, can fit on a router and no win 2k to deal
with.

Just a thought.

IP Phones are not standalone devices.

You will also need a Call Manager server in order to control the phones
and tell them what to do.

Hello Team,
Does anyone have experience using 7960 phone with CAT 3550 switch. I
would like to purchase for home lab in order to do some testing. I am
assuming I would need at least 2 IP phones in order to test. Also if
anyone knows of a place I could possibly get used for discount. I see on
Ebay they are around $200 a phone. Sincerely, Matijevic
