Potential New Lab Tip - General pre-lab setup

Hi guys,

I've been following the discussions for the past couple days re:
service-policy.

And, I've also wondered about when "ip cef" was needed or not needed. I've
come to the conclusion that added it in "does no harm" and so, I figured I
shouldn't try to remember if a feature may or may not need this to work.

And so, when I'm doing my pre-lab setup, I just automatically add "ip cef"
to my notepad add copy it to all routers and switches along with my favorate
aliases.

What other pre lab general setup tips do you people have?
