Yes, but remember if you later sell your lab you must claim the income.
So the safe thing to do is to claim the stuff you plan on keeping i.e. books
probably.

With this April 15th deadline looming ? Does anyone on this forum know if I
can:

1. Deduct CCIE Lab exam fees from my Taxes ?

2. Deduct the cost of study materials (Books, Practice Labs ...etc)

Like many of you, I have spend a whole lot of money on this so that one day
I can pay even higher taxes. I would like to recover at least a portion of
these expenses
