Certainly check with your accountant... But educational expenses
(furthering your employability) or unreimbursed job-related expenses are
both deductible.

So, the bottom line is yes, but every once and a while there are exceptions
based on the rest of your tax story. An accountant can look at the whole
picture for you.

With this April 15th deadline looming ? Does anyone on this forum know if I
can:

1. Deduct CCIE Lab exam fees from my Taxes ?

2. Deduct the cost of study materials (Books, Practice Labs ...etc)

Like many of you, I have spend a whole lot of money on this so that one day
I can pay even higher taxes. I would like to recover at least a portion of
these expenses
