I studied the Parkhurst OSPF & BGP books before going to San_Jose & it really paid off. If you could have only two books for the R/S lab they would be the two.
I still keep them on my desk here @ work & try to review often.
I also really like BGP design & Implementaion
by Zhang & Bartell.
