Thanks for getting back to me.
I'm surprised with your response, though, because I know that with my 2500
series routers, there's a big difference in how long a soft and hard reset
take. So, I figured, in the lab, there would also be a difference in time,
but maybe it's not that great.
As far as when a reset is needed, it's my undersatnding that whenever any
change in BGP policy takes place that affects what routes are allowed in or
out, a reset (either hard or soft) is needed. Don't you agree?
