Hi George,
Though I don't work for a Cisco partner but I don't agree with you in this
for the following reason:
Maybe it is not the best place for a CCIE to work in a Cisco Partner, still
the condition that Cisco created for those willing to be partners to have
certain number of CCIEs contributed in maintaining the value of CCIE.
Imagine now if Cisco decided that partners are not obliged to have CCIE's
in their teams, it won't be the same anymore for CCIE world.
I am also confused whether it is a good or bad thing for the CCIE program
and commuunity not to set a max. number of trials to gain the certificate.
I would vote for limiting the max number of trials to get the certificate
for a max. of three trials.
