Hi group,
I'm trying to clarify my understanding of the inter relationship between
SNMP
and Rmon. In particular, I'm confused about what the minimum SNMP
configuration that's needed when various Rmon events and alarms are
configured.
For example, if I want to use Rmon to send a trap (alarm) when cpu
utilization exceeds a certain %, do I need to enable snmp traps with
"snmp-server enable traps"?
And, if so, how can I configure snmp to only send the Rmon trap (alarm)
that's
already configured and no others?
Thanks in advanced,
