Nothing is ever set in stone. That's why we are such an entertaining group!

Let's reverse the question... Is there anything that is leaning you toward
this method? Why?

If you aren't prohibited from using it, or if you aren't "leaned" towards
another method, then it's fair game. You may do what you want as long as
the end result of the scenario is achieved.

Personally, I prefer to stick to one encapsulation if at all possible.
Perhaps because I'm lazy, but if something goes wrong I prefer one train of
thought to fix things rather than multiple trains on different tracks. Just
my opinion.

Keep it simple!

Hello,

If two DLSW routers are being configured to peer directly across a Frame
Relay cloud, should frame relay encapsulation ALWAYS be used?

dlsw remote-peer 0 [frame-relay] interface serial 0 111

Thanks,
Danny
