RE: vty authentication problems

Thanks for getting back to me. Someone correctly caught the 2 problems I
was having and showed me how to solve both of them.

To recap:

The authentication problem was due to mistakeningly having a "space" in the
name or password. I deleted the name/password and typed them back in and it
worked.

The issue with the command, login authentication default, not appearing in
the config file, was because that's the default. If I use a name instead of
default, that appears in the config file when I do a show run.
