Hi
It's normal that you don't see login statement under line vty 04 after
sh run command. It's becasuse this is default aaa profile. Try to use named
profile, for example
aaa authen login VTY local
and than put this profil under line vty login 0 4 - you shuld see command
that you entered after sh run
I don't know why you can't authenticate - misstyped password?????
