hi pal .
I install using the following method and it works fine all the time..
system used by me was : intel celeron 1.2 Ghz , 256 MB RAM, 40 GB HD
Normally installation for all this will require around 2-3 Gigabit for Hard
Disk Space, RAM used is around 430 MB, so better use 512 MB Ram but for lab
test condtion 256 also works fine.

>>>>>> CALL MANAGER 3.3(2) <<<<<<<
Below is Procedure required to install Cisco Call Manager 3.3
Step 1) Install Windows 2000 server with Service pack 1
Also Install following Components, ( Do not install any other Service other
than in this list)
a) Accessories and Utilities
b) Indexing Service
c) Internet Information Services (IIS)
d) Management and Monitoring Tools
Step 2) Give Fix Ip Address to your PC (Not From DHCP). Set Admin password.Do
not keep it blank
Step 3) Install Service Pack 3 "Windows_2000_service_pack_3.exe" around 128
MB. I think that if u install windows 2000 with Service pack 3 then also it
should work fine. Download from Microsoft Website
hxxp://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/downloads/servicepacks/sp3/sp3lang.asp
Step 4) Run "MAKE_MCS_Registry_Patch.reg". This patch will Make entries in
registry to Make your Intel Machine as MCS Machine, Remember that this
registry patch has one extra entry then old registry patch required for 3.0 -
3.2, which has OS information in it. Extra entry is shown below
================================
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cisco Systems\Model]
"Hardware"="MCS7835"
"Memory"="1024"
"Speed"="733"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Spirian\System Info\OS Image]
"Version"="2000.2.3"
================================
Step 5) Install OS upgrade patch, This patches were avaliable from Cisco
website.
a) win-OS-Upgrade-K9.2000-2-4 (278 MB)
b) win-OS-Upgrade-k9.2000-2-4sr5 (35 MB)
c) win-K9-MS03-026 (898 kb)
This patches are Windows 2000 upgrade patches required for installation,
Windows 2000 which we install is old one. we make entry in registry by MCS
patch as latest OS, but still our OS is old so we have to upgrade OS
Below link there are for new OS Upgrade Patches which are relased instead of
old patches I have used. I have not test new Upgrade patches but should work
fine
hxxp://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/c_callmg/osbios.htm
a)File "win-OS-Upgrade-K9.2000-2-4.exe is now replaced by New file Download
new patch from given link
hxxp://ftp.cisco.com/cisco/crypto/3DES/voice/cmva/win-OS-Upgrade-K9.2000-2-5.
exe (258.2 MB)

new patch from given link
hxxp://ftp.cisco.com/cisco/crypto/3DES/voice/cmva/win-OS-Upgrade-k9.2000-2-5s
r4.exe (13.7 MB)
** Above download required CCO login with proper permission, Do not ask me for
CCO login. Also maintain this file order for installing patches
Step 6) Now Install Call Manager 3.3(2)
For Serial/Product Key visit :
hxxp://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/hw/voiceapp/ps967/prod_installat

>>Click > "Cisco RIS Data Collector" and press update
>> Click on all the services one by one anc press update
Step 8) Now you Can install DHCP services if you make Call Manager as ur DHCP
server Also.
Enjoy !!! Now you should have compelte Running Callmanager 3.3
and for the use of version 3.1
I've successfully had 3.1 going in VMware, but not 3.3. as i haven't got a
copy of that version or the patches.
I would love to get a copy, i can provide an FTP site for others to grab it as
well, pm me and let me know.
Here's some info I found on the net, might help (even though its not as

Richard,
The regular version of w2k os will not support versions of CCM above 3.0 or
3.1 I believe, the new versions of CCM are only supported under a cisco
build of w2k that you need to upgrade to before the CCM will load, check on
the cisco site for information of the w2k upgrade version
hope that helps
